The Rainforest Foundation is a unique family of non-profit organisations in the UK, US and Norway dedicated to supporting indigenous peoples and traditional populations of the world’s rainforests to protect their environment and fulfill their rights to land, life and livelihood.

The three organizations collaborate closely with more than 100 local and national environmental, indigenous and human rights organizations in 15 countries in the Central and South America, Central Africa, Southeast Asia, and Oceania. Together we have supported the protection of more than 72 million hectares of rainforest.

Nani Dias is a multi-instrumentalist musician well known in Brazil, for having participated in the main Rock and POP bands, such as Lobão, Paulo Ricardo, Kid Abelha and Leo Jaime. He has worked as a music producer for over 20 years with great success,having worked with practically all the big ones names in Brazilian music.

TikTok, the platform for short mobile videos, will broadcast the event and host a dance challenge through which they hope to donate up to $300,000 to the Rainforest Foundation to help indigenous peoples fighting the COVID-19 pandemic in the Amazon. The TikTok-hosted campaign will use the hashtag #sosrainforestchallenge across Latin America. The campaign will invite young audiences to create content and share the hashtag, thereby raising awareness of the role of indigenous peoples in protecting the world’s rainforests and the threat they face from the pandemic.

CASA Socio-Environmental Fund is a grantmaking institution that promotes conservation and environmental sustainability through mobilizing and channeling financial and capacity-building support to social and environmental initiatives of NGOs and community based groups in South America. Our strategy is to make many small and interconnected grants throughout the region. These small grants, allied with an integrated vision of the territory, generate significant impacts in the protection of our natural world.  CASA is the fiscal sponsor for donations made to SOS Rainforest Live through PicPay in Brazil.

If Not Us Then Who is a US registered charity, 501(c)(3) that supports a global awareness campaign highlighting the role indigenous and local peoples play in protecting our planet. We work in partnership with communities to make films, take photographs, curate content, commission local artists and host events. Our work aims to build lasting networks, target unjust policies, and advocate for greater rights for indigenous and local peoples to bring about positive social change.
